 Band Honors

 Band Handbook

 Band Seniors

 Drum Major

Garrett Gage

Garrett originally started on the clarinet in middle school.  Then during his freshman year, Mr. Gregory put him on the base drum since he needed to fill the gap.  Sophomore year when the last Senior left Garrett became Drum Captain and played the Snare Drum through his Senior Year.

Garrett is the life of the party in the band.  Always living it up and making people laugh while making fun of Mr. Gregory's "funny" jokes.  When not being Funny, the class still gets a good laugh outta Garrett getting in trouble by Mr. Gregory.  This is Garrett's Senior Year and he plans on being Remembered.

Zachary Buller

I Play Clarinet, Flute and Piano and frequently burst out in song. I love the band and think it's the best part of school.  I also like pasta almost as much as the band, especially Ramen.

Anna Marie Olander

Anna Marie is a senior at Deer Creek High School.  She has been playing the French Horn since Sixth Grade.  In Eight Grade she joined the Deer Creek Band under the instruction of Mr. gregory,  the coolest teacher EVER.  When she grows up she wants to be a doctor.

Kristi Walston

Kristi has been in the band since 5th grade.  She was born in Payson, UT.  She has lived in 6 states.  Kristi enjoys spending time with her family, playing the piano, flute, and singing.  Kristi has 5 brothers.  Her oldest brother is married and has 2 adorable boys.  She admires her parents for their hard workand she is grateful that they raised her to believe in Jesus Christ.

Stacy Sullivan

Stacy has been in the band since 6th grade and has played the clarinet for the past 7 years.  Her Freshman year she tried out and was accepted into the Color Gaurd squad and has been in the Color Gaurd for the past 4 yaers and is Color Gaurd Captain this year.  She has also been in the basketball band since her Sophomore year.

Stacy enjoys the frienships, the competitions, band trips and especially the Color Gaurd.  Her favorite memory is the late night debates with Jake Dage, Brad Gary, and Zach Buller in San Antonio or the trip to New Orleans her Freshman Year and seeing the WWII Memorial.

Greg Lacy

Greg is the son of John and Vickie Lacy.  He has attendeded Deer Creek since Kindergarten and plans to go to OSU and major in Biomedical Engineering and Veterinary Medicines.

Brad Gary

I have been attending Deer Creek since 3rd grade.  This year I am the Woodwind Section Leader.  I have been in the CODA and OBU Honor Band  along with the Harrison Academy of Symphonic Winds.  My Life through high school can be expressed through a simple truth:

Proverbs 4:25-6- Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you.(26) Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.

I read the first part of this verse in the morning announcements over the intercom to enforce the need for a purpose-driven life.  What happens to me, whether good or bad, I look forward to my goal to which God has called me heavenward.  I am in band ONLY to please GOD.  What he wants me to do, I don't know.  But my first step is to obey his command.  I follow as a servant.  This is who I am because this is who Jesus was and still is.
