2008 Drum Major  This is my second year as Drum Major for the Antler Pride and it looks to be the best season yet. This past year I was a member of the Central Oklahoma Director's Association(CODA) Honors Wind Ensemble, the Oklahoma Baptist Univ. Honor Band, the All-OMEA All State Honor Band as well as summer honor and community bands. In July of 2008, I was awarded the National Band Association's "Most Outstanding Drum Major" at the Red River Drum & Auxiliary Camp. |

2008 Field Captain  I started playing in the Deer Creek Band on the flute in the 6th grade. I have been Playing the flute for six years now and plan to continue playing in college band. This is also my second year to be Field Captain for the Deer Creek Marching Band and i have learned a lot from this leadership position. The band has become my family over the years and I will miss them greatly when I leave. |
