I joined the band in the middle school and have been passionate about it ever since. In my 7th and 8th grade year, I was named Outstanding Musician in the badn. I have made the Oklahoma Baptisit University Honor Band in my 8th and 9th grade years, as well as the Central Oklahoma Directors' Association 7& *th grade band and 9th Grade Band. I have recieved two Superior Ratings on solos t the district level, as well as being involved in many district and state ensembles. At the state level, I was also part of a Woodwind Quartet that recieved a Superior rating.
During the summers, I have attended the UCO Summer Band, The University of Oklahoma Honors Wind ensemble, and have been part of the Honor Band at SWOSU Band Camp.
